The six-band device monitors radar from the X, K, and Ka Superwide bands, while also using its 360-degree LaserEye to perceive laser signals from any direction. I purchased this radar detector about five weeks back and during that time tested and evaluated the performance of it.

This unit mounts on your windshield/dashboard with included suction cups and this detector has saved me several tickets, and is very accurate. It can detect police radar as well as safety vehicles from about 2-3 miles. The speed of the unit is great; it seems to detect the radar as quick as some more expensive ones. Overall this radar detector does its job, perhaps too well, so if you are short on cash and want to get a radar detector, this would be the one to get.
