The Cobra XRS 9430 12-Band Radar/Laser Detector with Strobe Alert is an invaluable addition to your motor vehicle. Designed for the convenience of 24-hour use, the XRS-9430 has an extra bright digital display that can be dimmed for nighttime driving. I purchased this radar detector about four weeks back and during that time tested and evaluated the performance of it. Sometimes, it picks up Ka from over a mile away and sometimes it's almost as I'm on top of the cop.

The XRS-9430 is also sensitive to four different laser signals, and with its LaserEye feature giving you a 360-degree detection range, you'll always be able to tell if you're driving through a surveillance area. Overall this is a nice product and to make it more effective you need to adjust the factory settings to some preferred ones for VG2 detections. Moreover this unit has got lots of useful feature like Intellimute, is easy to operate, voice alert is very good and loud enough, and controls are handy.
