The device scans the X, K, and Ka Superwide radar bands--the three standard bands used by most radar guns--while also hiding from VG-2 and VG-3 scanners, which officers use to locate drivers with radar detectors. Thanks to this latter technology, the DLS312 is virtually invisible on the road. The device also offers an integrated laser scrambler that disables police LIDAR; 360-degree laser detection; advanced Micro-Scan POP radar detection; Smart-Scan technology that detects signals quicker while reducing the number of false alerts; and adaptive laser tracking to improve the overall laser performance. And to top it off, the DLS312 comes with systems to detect safety radar and safety warning alerts, ensuring that you can avoid traffic snarls caused by emergency vehicles and road hazards.
